Step 1 – Create a moolahgo eWallet Account

1. Download the Moolahgo App
2. Open the app and choose ‘New user’
3. Enter your Mobile No. and Occupation
4. Press Sign up. Moolahgo will send a Verification code (OTP) to your mobile phone via SMS
5. Enter the OTP and press ‘Verify’

If you have a Referral code from a friend, you may enter it so that you and your friend can get mCoins. If not, you can press ‘Skip’

Step 2 – Verify Your Account

1. Login to your moolahgo app
2. Press your profile photo
3. Select ‘My Info’
4. You may choose to update manually or use Singpass (Note: if you choose Singpass, you must upload a selfie photo of yourself holding your IC with the photo side facing camera)
5. If you choose manual update, fill out all information as instructed in the app
6. Accept Moolahgo’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
7. Press ‘Confirm’

Step 3 – Top-up your moolahgo eWallet

Top-up by scanning PayNow QR Code (Preferred)

1. Login to your moolahgo app and Press ‘Top Up’ at bottom menu
2. Agree to the terms (drag the toggle button to the right until it turns green)
3. Select ‘Bank Transfer’
4. Enter the amount that you like to top-up or select one of the preset amount. Press ‘Next’
5. Download QR code
6. Go to your Bank App, choose ‘Scan & Pay’ (exact name depends on bank app)
7. Select photo library and find the downloaded QR Code
8. Press Pay in your Bank App
9. Your money will be in your wallet within a few seconds (close & re-login to your moolahgo to refresh if needed)
10. If Scanning the QR code fails, please do a manual PayNow to the UEN displayed on the app, usually slightly below the QR code. (Note: Remember to include the unique top-up reference code that starts with ‘EWTOPxxxxxx’ to avoid delays in your top-up).

Other Top-up methods

1. Credit / Debit Visa or Mastercard
2. Cash deposit at DBS/POSB cash deposit machines (Note: Please do expect around 24 hours for your wallet to be credited if you choose cash deposit method)

Step 4 – Send/Top up to Weixin mobile

1. Login to your moolahgo eWallet
2. Press ‘Pay Now’ at the bottom menu
3. Select ‘To Wallets’
4. Under China eWallets, Select ‘Weixin’
5. Scroll to your saved contact and find the name of your recipient. Please note:

                     a. The saved contact name must be the same as the registered name of the Weixin                                 account. Please check with your recipient to confirm

                     b. The saved mobile number must start with ‘+86’.

6. Enter the amount you want to top-up or send

7. Choose Relationship & Purpose

8. Press ‘Next’

9. Enter Promo Code (if any)

10. Verify that all information is correct

11. Press ‘Confirm’
