Compliance-RFI for neoOne Users

1. What is Compliance-RFI?

Compliance-RFI is a feature that enables organizations to securely receive, manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs). It provides a centralized workspace for exchanging compliance documents with counterparties, replacing manual email exchanges with a secure, traceable, and efficient process.

2. What is an RFI and why did I receive one?

An RFI (Request for Information) is a request from the Moolahgo Compliance team for additional information or supporting documents relating to your account or a transaction. When an RFI is issued, you will receive an email containing a secure link to the Compliance-RFI portal, where you can submit the requested information and documents.

You may receive an RFI as part of our customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring, or to help us better understand the nature and purpose of a transaction. This is a standard compliance process and does not necessarily mean that there is an issue with your account or transaction.

As a responsible MAS-regulated financial institution, Moolahgo is required to comply with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) and other regulatory requirements. Requesting additional information helps us meet these obligations while maintaining the security and integrity of our services.

3. What information do I need to provide for an RFI?

The information and supporting documents required will vary depending on the nature of your account, transaction, or the specific compliance review being conducted.

Please refer to the instructions provided in the RFI and submit all requested information as completely and accurately as possible. Providing complete documentation at the outset helps us review your submission more efficiently and may reduce the need for additional follow-up requests.

If you are unsure about any of the information requested, please contact your Moolahgo Client Advisor before submitting your response.

4. How do I respond to an RFI?

Click the link provided in the email to access the secure Compliance-RFI portal. If prompted, enter the access code included in the email.

Follow the instructions to:

  1. Complete the required information
  2. Upload the requested supporting documents (such as PDF, Word, Excel or image files)
  3. Review your submission before submitting

If we require additional information after reviewing your submission, we will notify you and, where applicable, issue a follow-up RFI requesting the additional documents or information required.

5. What should I do if I uploaded the wrong document?

If you have uploaded the wrong document before submitting your RFI response, simply remove or replace the incorrect file before you submit the request.

If you have already submitted your RFI response, please contact your Moolahgo Client Advisor as soon as possible. Where appropriate, we may issue a follow-up RFI to allow you to provide the correct document or any additional information required.

Documents uploaded to Compliance-RFI form part of the compliance audit trail and cannot be deleted once they have been submitted. Any incorrectly submitted documents will be handled in accordance with Moolahgo’s data retention policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

6. Is my information secure?

Compliance-RFI maintains a complete audit trail of user activity, including document uploads, submissions and status changes, providing transparency and supporting internal governance and regulatory reviews.

Your information is protected using enterprise-grade security controls. Documents are securely stored within the platform and are accessible only to authorised users.

Confidential documents are not stored on the blockchain. Instead, blockchain technology is used to create immutable, tamper-evident records that verify document integrity and activity, while keeping your data private.

7. Is there a deadline for responding to an RFI?

Yes. RFIs are generally subject to a response deadline. We encourage you to submit the requested information and supporting documents within 48 hours to avoid delays in the review of your account or transaction.

If we do not receive the requested information within the specified timeframe, we may be unable to complete our review. This could result in delays, the rejection of a transaction, or other account restrictions, where applicable.

If you require additional time to respond, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. What happens if my RFI response is not approved?

If the information or documents provided are insufficient for us to complete our review, we may trigger another RFI to request the additional documents needed.

If we are unable to obtain sufficient information to satisfy our regulatory obligations, we may not be able to proceed with your transaction or request. Depending on the circumstances, this may result in delays, transaction rejection, account restrictions or other actions being taken in accordance with our internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Providing complete and accurate information will help us complete our review as quickly as possible.
