QR Ph is the Philippines’ National QR Code Standard, introduced by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) under the National Retail Payment System. Based on the globally recognized EMV® QR standard, QR Ph enables secure, fast and interoperable digital payments across participating banks and e-wallets using a single, standardized QR code.
With moolahPAY’s QR Ph Scan & Pay, you can conveniently pay participating merchants across the Philippines by simply scanning a QR Ph code, without the need for a local Philippine bank account. Simply top up your moolahPAY eWallet in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and pay participating merchants in Philippine Pesos (PHP). moolahPAY automatically converts your funds using the applicable exchange rate.
moolahPAY is the first Singapore non-bank wallet to enable users to scan and pay QR Ph codes at participating merchants across the Philippines, including supported online merchants and e-commerce platforms that accept QR Ph payments — providing a seamless cashless payment experience while you are travelling or shopping in the Philippines.
Before QR Ph was introduced, merchants often needed to display multiple QR codes from different banks and e-wallets, making digital payments more complicated for both businesses and consumers.
QR Ph established a single national QR code standard that enables interoperable payments across participating financial institutions. Merchants only need to display one QR code, while customers can pay using their preferred supported payment app, making QR payments simpler, faster and more convenient.
With moolahPAY’s QR Ph Scan & Pay, you can enjoy a fast, secure and convenient way to pay participating merchants across the Philippines, whether you’re shopping, dining, travelling, or making everyday purchases.

If your payment cannot be completed:
1. Check that you have a stable internet connection.
If after scanning the QR Ph code or clicking ‘Pay’, the app just keeps loading or remains idle, this could be due to slow internet connection or a temporary system delay. Please check your connection and try again. Ensure that you have a strong data signal on your Wi‑Fi or mobile network. DO NOT scan and pay again until you have confirmed that the previous payment was unsuccessful.
2. Ensure you have sufficient wallet balance.
3. Verify that the QR Ph code is valid.
If you see an “Unrecognized QR code” message, it means the code is not in the standard QR Ph format and is not supported by moolahPay. Please check with the merchant to ensure they provided you with a valid QR Ph code.
4. Try scanning the QR code again.
5. If the issue persists, please contact Moolahgo Customer Support.
My moolahPAY wallet has been deducted but the merchant claims the funds have not been received.
If your moolahPAY app shows the transaction as successful and your wallet has been deducted, the payment would have been sent to the merchant’s account. In some cases, the merchant’s system may take some time to update the transaction. Show your payment confirmation to the merchant and ask them to check again.
If the issue persists, you may contact our support team at support@moolahgo.com or send a WhatsApp message to +65-88980978 (10am to 6pm SGT, Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays).
If a payment has in fact not been received by the merchant, Moolahgo will process a refund to your wallet after completion of investigations.
DO NOT make another payment to the merchant until you have confirmed the status of the original transaction with our Customer Support team.
Refunds are subject to the merchant’s refund policy.
Refund times depend on the merchant’s processing speed. Once the merchant initiates the refund, funds are typically returned to your moolahPay wallet after approximately 15 (fifteen) business days but may take longer depending on the situations. We recommend checking with the merchant to confirm that the refund has been initiated, and their processing time.
If you require a refund, please contact the merchant directly. If you need further assistance, Moolahgo Customer Support will be happy to assist you via WhatsApp at +65-88980978 (available 10am to 6pm SGT, Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays).
No, it will not, as long as you only access your moolahPAY app from your regular mobile device, and not from another device. Using data roaming or e-SIM will not trigger a 12-hour cooling off period on your account.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to shorten this cooling off period as it is a regulatory requirement. If you need to access your moolahPAY account from another device for your travels, we recommend that you allow sufficient time for the 12-hour cooling-off period to lapse.
